St. Thomas More Elementary School Reviews

We absolutely love our extended family community that we have at St. Thomas More. The staff are exceptional. They are dedicated to ensuring your child is learning and even surpassing grade level expectations. MR. Callan is fantastic at handling situations with the students as well. He is very compassionate and understanding. St. Thomas More is a welcoming community and we are so grateful for it.

Extremely upsetting..Especially how things are handled disciplinary wise. The principal seems to work against those who come into the school later in the elementary taking sides of the children who have been there all their school years.

I am unpset to see that this school has not kept up with other catholic schools in the area. Many parents have acknowledged this and either moved to the public school or another private school, St. Pius. One of its biggest problems is the principal. If you do not expect excellence from your teachers and therefore your students you will never achieve it.

I have had a very positive experience with this school. Academically, my children are almost a full grade level ahead of their peers in public school. Small class size contributes to the individual attention. While tuition rises, the investment in our children is worth the price. I'll gladly forego a lake house or cottage for the quality education that my children are receiving. Combined classrooms are a good thing for many children who are older in a class. The curriculum is for the higher grade and is very challenging for lower grade children in these classes and ultimately gives them an advantage against their public school peers. Teachers of combined grades are Excellent in every way and are experienced enough to handle this model classroom. This is an excellent school.

I would not recommend this school. Tuition continues to increase at a high rate. Grade levels are being combined and teachers are leaving. We were extremely disappointed by the principal's handling of bullying/harassment on the playground.

St. Thomas More elementary school provides a phenomenal education. Being an educator myself, I know the importance of a well-rounded education. This school not only provides that, but goes beyond by providing a well disciplined atmosphere in a christian environment. My children are well above that of the public schools. I am confident, without a doubt, that they are receiving one of the best educations available in this area.
